about
The writing of this song came about after the passing of my Mom. I wanted to write something that said a lot without saying a lot. I wanted to convey both the sense of great loss but also of great hope. The hope that comes from the promise that I will one day see my Mom again and many others. When that day comes, all our tears and pain will be washed away and we will truly know them no more. This track was recorded live as part of a video shoot at Centre Street Church in Calgary
lyrics
There are many things, I should have said to you
Have to let it go, You would say that too
When there was anything heavy on my heart
I could call, You would talk
Because your heart, its made of gold
You're getting younger, we're here getting old
I miss the talk abouts, but we're saving up
We'll fill each others cup
It won't be long, we'll be singing the same song
See you later on, see you real soon, See you later on.....
What's life going to be day by day?
We'll move on, that is what you'd say
Your face is shining, brighter than the moon
I know you're fine now, I wonder what you're doing
Chorus
See you when the rainbow comforts the pain
And how the sun always comes out again
Until pain and sorrow will be far away
We'll know it no more
See you later on, see you real soon
It won't be long, we'll be singing the same song
See you later on, see you real soon
See you later on....

This is a reference album - one in which I will be referencing time and again. Musicians take notice. There is a depth to this album that will carry it for years to come, possibly a lifetime. Gordon Paul
